Metal Awnings

Metal awnings for a commercial or industrial space are the ideal cost effective solution for both branding and sun protection. The metal is sealed and painted and as such, has both a tremendously long life span and extremely low maintenance. While branding is not necessarily a consideration for residential homes, they too will benefit from the durability.

Designs for metal awnings can include a slatted overhead in keeping with this building’s design, or a vertical ridged surface, flat surface or even a decorative element. As metal awnings are typically heavy structures, it is common for supports to be built that fit with the overall design. Paint colors are varied as are the designs. In the end, a metal awning will offer the same sun and weather protection as well as reduce heat seepage to interiors, which reduces energy costs. In addition, the only maintenance needed is an occasional brushing to remove cobwebs and debris, or a simple hosing down. In time, a metal awning can be re-painted easily as needed.
