Designing and building custom shade structures means we must build everything from scratch. Our welding shop is the origin of all of the mounts, posts, frames, housing and architectural structures. Each piece of a job is built to design specs from joints to supports. That means cutting steel pipe and bars, cutting for bolts and screws and soldering joints at precise angles for integrity and strength. Some projects of great size require building structures in sections that can be re-assembled on-site. In addition, after the structure is built each piece is sealed against weathering and/or painted as needed.
Our staff has worked with us for many years and we rely on their experience and knowledge to contribute to the design process. In a small company it is essential that we can exchange ideas and thoughts on the design and process from the initial frame to the final fabric fitting to build an exceptional product.
