During our beautiful summers in New Mexico we shut the doors & windows, pull the curtains and turn on the A/C and fans. In doing so we close ourselves in and miss the beauty of the desert. What if you could reduce the need for A/C & fans, what if you could also sit on the patio?
Our custom screening is designed and fabricated for the space where it will hang. The housing for the mounts are low profile to blend in with your exterior. Screening comes with manual cranks or can be wired for remote operation. They can be installed to run up and down “rails” or fixed with clips at the bottom corners to be secured when fully extended. Whether your space is narrow and needs only a 3 foot width, or you require extra wide 12 foot screens, Santa Fe Awning delivers. Screening is available in a variety of colors including the “Buckskin” tone shown. Our screening is sewn with Kevlar thread which outlives the screening warranty and will deflect up to 95% of harmful UV rays.
Reduced sun exposure means cooler stone, tiles and patio furniture. A reduction in the temperature of outdoor spaces means lower temperatures indoors. By shielding your patio, deck or portal with our screening, you will actually reduce the amount of energy used to cool indoor spaces. Some of our customers report up to a 25% reduction in summer utility costs.
Oh! And you can still see through our screening, so keep enjoying your view!
