Santa Fe Awning has been the premier sun & wind protection company in New Mexico for more than 30 years. We work on projects large and small, both residential and commercial. Each project is custom-designed and built for the client. We have designed, fabricated and installed projects from Las Cruces to Taos and beyond. Our workshop is based in Santa Fe where we design and build everything. We are local.
New Mexico enjoys a unique climate with unique challenges in wind and sun protection. Constant dust, very intense UV exposure and constant wind vibration takes its toll on fabric and metal structures, and installation fixtures. Fabric wears faster, fixtures become clogged with dust, and constant low level winds put pressure on everything.
Santa Fe Awning works harder every year to improve our products and it shows. Our warranties include 5 years for motors, 15 years for screening materials and 10 years for the Sunbrella fabrics for awnings, patio covers and shade sails. We stitch all of our products with Kevlar thread which will outlast the fabric. Our screening fabric is custom milled by our vendor to block up to 95% UV rays and is available in widths up to 126”. That means your screens will have no seams! And our products usually outlast the warranties.
