The high desert of New Mexico is an extraordinary landscape both beautiful and demanding of those who live here. Vast flat tracts of sand and clay, rocky and mountainous regions rising from the desert floor, sudden arroyos and high mesas. All are subject to intense burning sun 300 days a year, sudden snows, occasional torrential rains, and unpredictable winds.
Santa Fe Awning has been designing, fabricating and installing shade solutions in the high desert for more than 30 years under these same conditions. Our workshop is located on the south side of Santa Fe and includes metalwork, supplies storage, enormous cutting and sewing tables and office space. We have spent nearly 3 decades sourcing the best fabrics and strongest components. Our screening fabric blocks up to 95% of UV rays and has a 15 year warranty. We use Sunbrella fabric with a 10 year warranty, and both are manufactured in the USA. Motors have a 5 year warranty. The quality of our materials allows us to build shade solutions that can comfortably withstand all kinds of crazy New Mexico conditions. Steel framing custom built and hand-crafted fabrication for screens, patio covers, awnings and shade sails mean we stand by our work and we service our customers indefinitely.
