One of our favorite projects is to design outdoor seating areas for the service industry. Over the years we have designed and built a variety of patio enclosures. Temporary installations like drop down screening for patio dining, giant shade sails over a patio and full enclosures with windows and doors built into fabric walls. Having the option to expand customer seating to an outdoor area offers flexibility to a restaurant regardless of the weather.
Winter patios are designed to accommodate lighting and all-important heating, as well as using ceiling fans and changing out windows for screening in the summer months. Fabric walls can be designed to be removed or added to separate a patio area or included with the interior seating as an extension of the dining area. Having the flexibility is an economic boon for restaurants by increasing the seating capacity, allowing for larger groups for special events.
