Build Ironwork for Shade Structures

Build Ironwork for Shade Structures

When shopping for an awning, shadesail, patio cover or patio screens, the underlying ironwork that supports the shade structure is extremely important. Each fixture, retracting arm, brace, frame and support must be built with strength and integrity. In New Mexico, we have one of the highest UV indexes, strong variable winds, and a constant low vibration from wind that puts extra pressure on fabrics and metals.

Our workshop in Santa Fe produces everything we build and half of the workshop is devoted to ironwork. Our metalsmiths fabricate everything we use in our designs. The gauge of metal arms, piping for awning frame construction, braces and supports are hand built to support the size and weight of the final product and endure New Mexico weather conditions. We also use the highest quality parts like motors for remote retracting patio screens. Some of our components come from as far away as Italy, France and Spain.

Our experience of more than 30 years in New Mexico and the quality of our materials and fabricating allow us to offer unusually generous warranties. And as we are local, it means we service everything we sell. Please call to plan a visit to our workshop or stop in with questions.
