Build an Easy Pool Ramada

Need an easy and attractive shade solution for your pool patio? Something large enough to provide shade for the lounge chairs, a table, maybe the barbecue grill as well? We built this ramada, which is a free standing structure that’s just the right size for this space. Steel posts and beams are grounded in the patio space and we’ve tied royal blue fabric to the side beams which is supported by a center steel pole. The fabric is extremely durable, will not fade under a hot sun, or be eaten by insects. In time, when new patio furniture is purchased, we simply remove the fabric and sew a replacement cover in your new color of choice. The steel structure is heavy and strong enough to stand up to strong winds almost indefinitely and will last for years. When fall arrives or it’s too soon to open the pool in the spring, these folks have a lovely sheltered spot to admire their view with coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening.
